Of course not! These cases just happened to work well for the piece, and there's a lot of overlap with abdominal pain in younger adults as well :)

Thanks for including the phone call to the surgeon at the end. Many of my students don't realize there is an art form to relaying a patient presentation over the phone to another provider. It's like its own type of verbal "documentation note"... pertinent positives and negatives... Goldilocks presentation - not too much, not too little... Nice to be able to show my students an example.
