are you using the same endocavitary probe as in the transvaginal probe and just placing directly on top of the tonsil?

That's right, Mike. And it's worth noting that the JC mandated cleaning procedures for these endocavitary probes (at least in our recent experience) can be quite expensive and time-consuming for a department - not sure if there are new things out there to make that easier for us - maybe one of our U/S experts will weigh in!

Is there any literature out there that suggests that untreated strep pharyngitis progresses to PTA/RPA formation? Or are they separate entities?
