I understand why the CT/CTA series is suggested, but I was also taught that MRI is the more accurate imaging modality for cerebellar strokes.... should all these patients go on to have an MRI as soon as possible if the CT/CTA is negative but the symptoms are suspicious and/or the patient is high risk for CVA?
