Great question! Absolutely--many times the barrier to oral potassium repletion is nausea and emesis because it is a prominent symptom in DKA. I often give these patients IV antiemetics just for symptom control, but I would certainly provide it to facilitate any oral potassium supplementation too.

Do you give anti-emetics if nauseas or vomiting as regards oral potassium ?
