500mg Not so fast. There is ZERO data on this, it's just in the range of 3-5mg/kg generally recommended. The more you give, the more side effects including emergence and increased intubation. There IS data here.
Our service starts with 200mg IM. Obviously more in the big dudes. Works well. ER MDs like it better
