What are your thoughts on FFP for ACE inhibitor angioedema? I have heard it works very well, when used early on in management to prevent the need for intubation.
I've used it to temporize the airway while prepping for the awake nasal airway. I have also seen angioedema progress after 2 units of FFP. So anecdotally, it works and I like to use it (esp when working critical access) but I usually end up taking the airway.
