Anyone still commenting on this one? This decision instrument seems overly broad--we have long foregone chest CT with a minor mechanism and normal chest x-ray regardless of thoracic, sternal, or chest wall 'tenderness' since that's pretty common. We have not had a rash of serious missed injuries. That's assuming the patient is not sick with a low overall injury severity score and such. Anyone else?
