When talking about controlling these patients' BP, what goal MAP are you titrating to and what's your threshold to add an additional agent or dose of BP med? And beyond their home meds what are you using for BP control? Thanks!

I'm intrigued. I have never heard of an implanted lvad being used as a bridge to recovery? How is the myocardium sewn back together what do they do when they decannulate the left ventricle? It makes sense with catheter based transvalvuler pumps. I would love for a more in-depth talk on this.

Excellent talk. If I ever have to manage an LVAD patient I will be less stressed.
