I have always been taught to only measure opening pressure in the lateral recumbent position - in the video you measure the opening pressure with the dummy patient upright. Doesn't this make the pressure artificially high?
That is correct. Opening pressures are much more accurate in the lateral recumbent position, but the mannequin doesn't tolerate that position well ;) I thought that was said in the video but you are right -- it wasn't said. I'll try to add that.
