Hi I was hoping to get clarification on a few points 1. Open Pericardial decompression in blunt trauma - sounded like not contraindicated in blunt trauma if US evidence of pericardial effusion ... though I thought this had a terrible prognosis 2. When the cardiothoracic Sx are not in close proximity.... rural hospitals and in pre hospital where the hospital may be 30 min away .... any cut offs ?
Cheers Mick
