Great discussion of this paper. Something that often does not get discussed when we talk about intubation in cardiac arrest are ventilation rates and tidal volumes. Once the patient is intubated it is easier to ventilate too fast and with too deep. It would be interesting to compare intubation vs BVM in a study where the rate and depth of ventilation is controlled.
