There is another option in regards to exercise . These are long walks at a good pace say 70-100 steps a minute for one to two hours per day four days a week with an aim of 10.000 Steps a day . For Semi -Retirees and Retirees this is practical and can be in walking groups . The cautions are the security of the walking areas the weather and ability to walk safely .
Kinda of confused. I am 61 and diabetic for 3 years . I do an hour and a half of vigorous exercise daily ( machines, aerobic, weights) and due to digestive issues ( can't eat fats, and can eat very little protein )-I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables - I have a BMI of 25 and even so my C peptide is slowly approaching the null. This can be reversible?

According to Dr. Johnson, yes, Type 2 DM can be reversed in some patients. Mind blowing concept to me!
