My EMS system has just implemented mandatory 30 min on scene CPR time for non traumatic cardiac arrest. CPR is continued where the patient was found with the exception of environmental conditions and provider safety. Any thoughts on this topic? There appears to be some literature to support it. I would love a discussion on this. Thanks Joseph Lauro MD
