always used the statement "Me first" to remember this...sounds immature yes, but its simple. salter 1 everyone knows is the basic cant see thru the growth plate, salter 5 everyone knows is the dreaded "crush" of the growth plate so its 2-4 one has to remember. Me First Metaphysis(2), epiphysis(3)(just like the letters in "Me") and lastly both. I always thought we were making way too big a deal of what are probably sprains in kids.

great segment on one of those potentially nerve-racking injuries (due to uncertain guidelines). any thoughts re this paper?
