Could you give any advice or recommended literature regarding the use of HEAD CT ANGIO in Acute stroke? There is a trend for increased use of contrasted CT to document a larger clot location using this at bigger centres. We do not have clot retrieval capabilities at our unit and thus would this maybe give us a better idea on whether thrombolytics are indicated if we can image the clots location?
