Bell's Palsy Facial Droop
Examination of a patient with Bell's Palsy shows a facial droop that includes the forehead. Lower motor neuron lesions (such as Bell's palsy) involve the frontalis muscle of the forehead, whereas upper motor neuron lesions (such as strokes) spare the forehead. Only motor is affected since this is a neuropathy of CN VII. Sensation (CN V) should be unaffected.

Knee Arthrocentesis and Intraarticular Injection
Dr. Jess Mason reviews how to do either a knee arthrocentesis or intraarticular joint injection, with procedure demonstrated by Physician Assistant Felicia Trasca. The approach is the same but for an arthrocentesis (aspiration) fluid is removed and for a joint injection pain medication and/or steroid is injected into the knee.

How to use electrocautery to trephinate a subungual hematoma, demonstrated by Dr. Jess Mason.
Here are some techniques to reduce a paraphimosis: create a hyperosmotic solution using sugar and water, make a compression dressing using elastic tape or a condom, and then a demonstration of how to manually reduce the paraphimosis. Subacromial Bursa Injection for Impingement Syndrome
Dr. Jess Mason presents a posterior technique for a subacromial bursa injection for shoulder impingement syndromes (for both calcific tendonitis and supraspinatous tendonitis). Shoulder Joint Injection
Dr. Jess Mason presents the posterior approach for shoulder intra-articular injections. The same approach can be used for arthrocentesis.
